Finding Joy in Working Together
Plan to join us for Camp Joy July 10–14! Each morning Monday through Thursday, children will discover how God designed us to help each other as we do a variety of cooperative game, art, engineering, and music making activities. Our focus is on science, art, and fun! Camp Joy is for children entering Kindergarten through fifth grades, and for volunteers of all ages. Cost is $30 for one child, $50 for two children, $70 family max.
The Elementary Children's Ministry is focused on leading children to know God's love for them and to grow in loving and following Jesus.
We want to Communicate the truth of God's Word in age-appropriate and relevant ways; Celebrate God's love for each child through music, art, worship, games, and fun; Cultivate lifelong, loving relationships with Jesus for children, families, and volunteers; Care for children, families, and volunteers by creating a safe, loving, and welcoming atmosphere.
10:30 am-11:30 am each week
Children in Kindergarten through grade 2 meet in Room 3/4 for Sunday School. And children in grades 3 to 5 meet in Room 8. This winter, we are learning about God's loving plan to rescue His people in the books of Joshua and Judges, and His plan to rescue us as well. Sunday mornings are designed to include interactive, active learning with meaningful discussion times.
9:00 am–10:00 am Sundays, January 8 through February 12
Children ages 6 and up are learning to sew with Sara Sinclair. And they are using their skills to help others by making a quilt to give to a homeless person. If you are interested in joining the fun, contact Debbie for information on the next sewing series.
